Once knitted, the work is untied and knitted again.
The artist believes that the transformative nature of knitting is similar to the way people live, natural phenomena, and all other phenomena in the world. Knitted fabrics are made of 800 recycled towels that have been used at Dogo Onsen Honkan and other inns and hotels that are members of Dogo Onsen Ryokan Cooperative Association. The fabrics are dyed, cut, and sewn at a factory in Ehime Prefecture, which are then knitted in order of completion. For diorama works, such as buildings, surplus thread from knitting factories is also used.

編まれたものがほどけたり、また編まれる。一本の糸の姿が変容していくという編み物の特性は、人の生きる姿や自然現象など世の中のあらゆる事象に通じると語る作者が、その変容性を活用して道後温泉の成り立ちをジオラマで表現。
編み物の素材は道後温泉本館や道後温泉旅館協同組合加盟の旅館・ホテルなどで使用したタオル800枚をリサイクルしたものを使用。愛媛県内の工場で染色、裁断、縫製をしたもので編みました。建物などのジオラマ作品にはニット工場から出た残糸も使用しています。
